The Illinois State Capitol is getting these reproduction 1960’s oil-rubbed bronze backplates. Patterned from original State Capitol hardware, they were hand-sculpted and cast using a lost-wax casting method.

Looks like this needs some love – great door detail and this lever!! – historichardware
